The majority of the people now a day are struggling with their weight.  Weight gain is an increasingly common problem.

Although it is essential to follow a balanced diet and exercise to lose weight, these drinks can help accelerate weight loss and make your journey effective.

  • It boosts the body’s metabolism, promotes fullness, and decreases hunger which may help in weight loss.

Weight loss drinks 

1 Green tea:

Green tea has long been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat numerous conditions. It contains caffeine and catechin (antioxidant). Research indicates that both of these compounds can speed up metabolism.

How to make it?

  • Take a pan and add one cup of water and mint leaves and bring it to a boil.
  • Let it boil for 5 more minutes and add green tea leaves and let them soak for 5 minutes.
  • Strain and pour the boiled water into a tea mug. 
  • Stir this weight loss drink before consuming.

2 Ginger tea:

Among the several other health benefits of ginger, one of them is that it aids in digestion, promotes fullness, and decreases hunger which altogether helps in weight loss.

How to make it?

  • First, wash and scrub the ginger root. 
  • Then, peel the ginger and slice thinly about 4 to 5 pieces 
  • Fill a medium pot with 2 cups of water and place the ginger slices in the water and let boil gently for 10 minutes 
  • Remove from heat. Add lemon juice and honey to taste, if desired.

3 Cinnamon water and honey:

Cinnamon is one of the spices richest in antioxidants, full of beneficial compounds that may provide various health benefits including weight loss, improving heart health, reducing blood sugar, and many more.

How to make it?

  • Take 2cups of water in a pot and add 1 cinnamon stick.
  • Boil it on a medium to low flame for approximately 15 to 20 minutes
  • After this allow it to cool for 15 minutes before consuming.

4 Cumin (jeera) tea:

Cumin can be used for weight loss as it is an effective weight loss remedy. It can help in burning calories faster by increasing the speed of metabolism and improving digestion.

It also helps reduce bloating.

How to make it?

  • Soak 2 tablespoons of cumin seeds in water overnight. 
  • Then, boil the seeds in the morning and filter the drink. 
  • Now, add lemon juice (optional) to it and drink it on an empty stomach.

5 Carom seeds (Ajwain/Jwano) water:

Carom seeds are known to boost the metabolism naturally.It helps in secretion of gastric juices thus improving digestion and absorption of food, which can ultimately aid in weight loss.

How to make it?

  • Take 2 cups of water and add half teaspoon of carom seeds.
  • Boil it in a medium flame for approximately 5-10 minutes.
  • Once boiled, strain it and drink it warm on an empty stomach.
  • Or, Combine a teaspoon of carom seeds or ajwain seeds in two glasses of water and mix well.
  • Soak this overnight and strain it with the strainer in the morning.
  • Consume this on an empty stomach.

6 Lemon water:

 Lemon is packed with antioxidants and pectin fibre that may help melt belly fat. Other than this it improves your skin, aids in digestion, and freshens breath.

How to make it?

  • Take a glass of warm water, add a pinch of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey.
  • Drink it first thing in the morning for the best results.

7 Apple Cider Vinegar Drink:

Apple cider vinegar has various properties, including antimicrobial and antioxidant effects. It also helps in aiding weight loss, reducing cholesterol, lowering blood sugar levels, and improving the symptoms of diabetes.

How to make it?

  • Take one glass of water and add 1-2 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar.
  • Stir well and drink before mealtime.

Note: Keep in mind that these drinks won’t magically transform your body overnight, but incorporating them into your lifestyle will help you reach your goal and make you healthier.
