Good news for Nepali La Liga football fan as the Facebook claimed the right to screen the La Liga matches across the Indian sub-continent which is going to benefit the millions of the south Asian Spanish league fan to watch the match for free. Facebook will be broadcasting the live La Liga matches in Nepal.
This social media network has agreed on a deal with Spain’s national football competition, to broadcast the all 380 matches of a season in India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal and the Maldives.
The league matches will start from Friday, 17 August 2018.
Financial information about Facebook’s deal with La Liga has not been revealed.
“We are really happy to be on a free to air service in such an important territory as the Indian sub-continent,” Alfredo Bermejo, La Liga’s head of digital strategy stated to the media.
