1 Oatmeal
Oatmeal is able to absorb excess oil while also being very moisturizing. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can prevent acne formation making it an ideal choice for oily skin.
How to use?
- 1. Mix half a tablespoon of ground oatmeal with a little water to form a thick paste.
- Apply the paste all over your face.
- Leave it on for 20-30 minutes and rinse it off with plain water.
2 Eggs whites
Eggs are great for deep cleansing treatments. The protein in the egg is good for firming up your skin and shrinking those pores. It also works to remove impurities and excess oil from your skin, preventing breakouts of spots and pimples.
How to use?
- 1. Take an egg and separate the whites from the yolk.
- Whisk the egg white and apply it all over your face using a cotton ball.
- Leave it on for 20-30 minutes.
- Rinse it off with plain water.
- Apply this 1-2 times a week
3 Honey
Honey is one of the most versatile substances used widely in all types of skincare products. It keeps the skin moist but not oily. On top of it, It has antibacterial and antiseptic properties that benefit oily and acne-prone skin.
How to use?
- 1. Take a tablespoon of honey and simply massage it to your face using circular motions
- Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes
- Rinse it off with lukewarm water
- Use this 3 to 4 times a week
4 Tomatoes
Filled with B vitamins and anti oxidants, tomatoes are great for healthy skin. The acids in tomatoes may help absorb excess skin oils and unclog pores.
How to use?
- 1. Cut the tomato into two parts, squeeze the juice and place it in a bowl
- Add honey and make a mixture(optional)
- Apply it to your face and leave it for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off
5 Cucumbers
Cucumbers are mildly astringent which may help to cleanse the skin and tighten pores thus reducing breakouts. In addition, it may help to calm sunburn, reduce puffiness, and inflammation.
How to use?
- 1. Put the cucumber in a blender and blend until it forms a watery consistency
- Separate the juice from solid parts by pouring the mixture through a strainer
- Add 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel(optional)
- Apply it to your skin and massage it in a circular motion
- Leave it for 15minutes and wash it off using cool water
6 Aloe vera
Aloe vera is yet another all-rounder. With its natural astringent properties, it absorbs excess oil, sebum, and dirt from the skin pores. Hydrating properties of aloe vera gel moisturizes the skin and rejuvenates it without making it oily.
How to use?
- 1.Extract the fresh gel from the aloe vera and massage it on your face in circular motions
- Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse it off
7 Gram flour
Also known as besan or chickpea flour, it is one of the most commonly used ingredients in a face pack.it absorbs excess oil and helps to remove impurities without drying out your skin excessively.

How to use?
- 1. Take 1 tablespoon of gram four, half tablespoon of turmeric and rose water (or yogurt if rosewater is unavailable)
- Mix all the ingredients to make a thick paste.
- Apply this face pack and leave it on for 20 minutes.
- Wash it off with cold water.
- Apply this pack 1-2 times a week
