52-week High and Low

The trading range over a year.

The 52-week high and low are the highest and lowest prices a share traded at over the past year. Together they show the range within which the stock has moved. Near the 52-week high Strong momentum, but check if fundamentals justify the price. Near the 52-week low Possibly cheap, possibly troubled. The low alone tells you nothing about why. Wide range A volatile stock; expect bigger swings. A price near its low is not automatically a bargain, and a price near its high is not automatically expensive. The range is context, not a verdict.
