What is a Share
Owning a slice of a real business.
A share is a small piece of ownership in a company. If a company is divided into 1,00,000 shares and you own 1,000, you own 1% of the business: its profits, assets, and future, in proportion to your holding. This is the idea NepView is built around: when you buy a share you buy part of a real business, not a symbol on a screen. The price moves daily, but what you own is a claim on what that business earns over time. Why prices move A share price is simply what the last buyer and seller agreed on. Short-term it swings on mood and news; long-term it tends to follow how much the business actually earns. That's why understanding the business matters more than watching the chart. The rest of this guide teaches you to read a business like an owner: what it earns, owns, owes, and whether its price is fair.
